What Is a Peer Advisor?
Peer Advisors are upperclass students who are academically successful and involved in campus life. The primary role as a co-instructor in University 100 is to help students learn about the campus, get involved, and build a sense of community within the classroom.
University 300: Peer Leadership
It is a requirement for all selected Peer Advisors to enroll in the Peer Leadership course. This course is designed fro student leaders to develop and enhance their leadership style and skills, discuss current leadership issues occurring on campus, and network with other student leaders, faculty, and administrators at Mason. UNIV 300 is a one-credit course.
